16 Marvel Legends for Under $10

In the last year, we saw the release of multiple waves of Marvel Legends, which seemed to me more than in years past. One result is that it’s a great time to collect Marvel Legends. But the other side is that there are still plenty of figures available on the market that have not yet sold out. Retailers like Amazon and Walmart have begin discounting these Marvel Legends significantly to make room for the 2017 waves.

So if you have been waiting for any of these figures or want multiples for diorama building or customizing, now is the time to buy. Here is a list of 16 Marvel Legends available on Amazon and Walmart that are available (at the time of this writing) for under $10.

The case assortments can be seen in the images above. Entertainment Earth says the figures will ship in March 2017, and the Amazon listings say they will ship on March 24th, 2017. You can pre-order individual cases on Entertainment Earth or the individual figures on Amazon at the links below.

If you don’t want to order a full case, Amazon has the individual figures for pre-order at $19.99. If I were buying from Amazon though, I would reserve the ones I wanted before pre-orders sell out. Happy hunting!

Buying Guide: Marvel Legends Juggernaut Series Wolverine

The Marvel Legends Juggernaut Series, made up entirely of X-Men characters, ended up being the most anticipated Marvel Legends series of the year and probably of the last several years. Behind Deadpool, I think Wolverine was the second most anticipated character of this wave. A brown costume Marvel Legends Wolverine was first released by Toybiz back in series 6. But ever since then fans have been waiting for an updated version of this costume.

And Hasbro delivered! This version of Wolverine is properly in scale, has all the right articulation points and comes with alternate claws-sheathed hands! They definitely hit all the right marks with this figure. What did other collectors think? Read on for more!

Buying Guide: Marvel Legends Juggernaut Series Rogue

The Marvel Legends Juggernaut Series, made up entirely of X-Men characters, ended up being the most anticipated Marvel Legends series of the year and probably of the last several years. Rogue is another much anticipated redo of her Jim Lee era look that initially had a release in Marvel Legends as part of a Toybiz boxset back in the early days. The Fwoosh reviewed that one here, and as you can see, despite the soft goods jacket, it’s not good. But we don’t have to worry about that with this figure. This version of Rogue ended up being one of the stand outs of this wave. What did other collectors think? Read on for more!

Buying Guide: Marvel Legends Juggernaut Series Phoenix

The Marvel Legends Juggernaut Series, made up entirely of X-Men characters, ended up being the most anticipated Marvel Legends series of the year and probably of the last several years. Along with Deadpool and Wolverine, Phoenix had her first release in Marvel Legends in Series 6 way back in 2004.

The good here is that this is a nice update and gives newer collectors a chance to have Phoenix in their collection. The bad is that even though it’s a nice update, it’s a rehash of a character we’ve already gotten. But, the worst part for me is the lack of accessories. That’s inexcusable to me despite the fact that the BAF part is huge. What did other collectors think? Read on for more!

Buying Guide: Marvel Legends Juggernaut Series Kitty Pryde

The Marvel Legends Juggernaut Series, made up entirely of X-Men characters, ended up being the most anticipated Marvel Legends series of the year and probably of the last several years. Kitty Pryde made her first and last appearance in Marvel Legends way back in the Walmart Exclusive Giant Man series, along with Havok as a matter of fact. But both the old figure and this figure are from her appearance in Astonishing X-men. So it’s an update, but it would have been nice to have a different look.

I think the worst thing about this figure are the scale issues. She’s much larger than her previous figure, and Kitty Pryde is not a large woman. But, Marvel Legends figures are trending towards being oversized these days, so it’s not a major complaint. The best thing about this figure, however, are the accessories. Not only does she include her dragon, Lockheed, she includes parts to two Build-A-Figures, Juggernaut and Onslaught! So what did other collectors think? Read on for more!
